Crossed a glacier backwards
Polaire entered the legend the day he crossed an entire glacier backwards. He explained later that he had lost his compass and that "it's better to trust the sound of the wind behind you." No one dared ask him why he had a compass on the ice floe.

Invented the record silence
At six years old, Polaire broke a record: he stayed silent for nine and a half days, just to see. His entourage held up an encouragement sign. When he finally spoke, he just said "there". Everyone applauded, including a passing jellyfish.

Cooks a five-star snow soup
Polaire is also a chef. His specialty: melting snow soup with the taste of childhood. Gourmet guides travel by igloo to rate it. The recipe? A bit of water, a bit of snow, a lot of patience, and three happy memories. He says you need at least two for the broth to bind.
