Hatched from a spotted egg in the fern valley
Dinou hatched from a big spotted egg one sunny morning, in the middle of a valley full of ferns. The first thing he saw was a butterfly, and he immediately wanted to give it a hug. The butterfly flew off. Dinou smiled anyway, delighted to be there.
Became a proud herbivore
As he grew up, Dinou learned to eat leaves, and made it his whole pride. He picks the tenderest ones, chews slowly, and always offers the first bite to a neighbor. When asked whether he munches on others, he answers, scandalized: "Never! I eat leaves, me!"
The gentle one who protects the smaller friends
Everyone calls him "the gentle one who scares nobody". Dinou is very proud of that. When a storm rumbles or a big animal turns up, he steps in front of his little friends, puffs out his chest and lets out a "Roaaar" so soft it ends in a giggle. Nobody is scared, and that's exactly what he wanted.
